Blues at the Crossroads

KI and Bluesfest 004 KI and Bluesfest 005 This is my view of Blues at the Crossroads.  For the past several years, eXchange has staffed the gates at Terre Haute’s Blues at the Crossroads festival in downtown Terre Haute.  The stage is set at 7th and Wabash with our volunteers letting people in and out all day long.  We have the opportunity to pray for folks as they come and go.  It’s not a typical “church” event; the primary sponsors are Bacardi and Budweiser.  It’s an unusual meeting of church and community, but it’s good to be leaned on by our community to help with cultural events in town.  This year we have about 90 volunteers at the gates over Friday and Saturday, and I’m thankful for every one of them.
